NUNICA, MICHIGAN

Nunica is known as one of the most haunted places in Michigan. The leaders of this community do not believe this, and have made it perfectly clear to all that they will not tolerate trespassers in their cemetery or excessive press about paranormal events within the township limits. That being said, Nunica is an awesome place to investigate and I hope that someday the township will see that they are sitting on a paranormal gold mine! We lived in Nunica for a few years and had the chance to investigate several of the area homes and farms. The lost city of Spoonville is thought to have been partially absorbed by the Nunica borders and we have found several residents that are experiencing the unusual, most of them on a daily basis.

Here are just a couple of our experiences in Nunica.

There really seems to be something unusual around here and not everyone will admit it.  This first photo was taken late fall /early winter.  Even though we are careful not to take photos of our breath, we still have to question the mist in this shot, because of the season. What we can’t figure out is the orb and the red light.  OK, I know - orbs can’t be relied on as evidence because they can be re-created and this orb is probably just moisture.  The red light however, there are no cars on the road and no reflectors in that area.

Then we have this next photo, which I took from the farm of our friends.  You can’t see them, but about 30 feet from the camera is a large area filled with dense pine trees that are about 25 feet tall.  Behind the pines is an un-planted farm field. We found no lights in the pines or the field. We checked thoroughly for some kind of source. We can’t figure out what is creating this light. Is this a true orb?
