Meet the members of G.R.A.S.P.P.
Let me tell you a little bit about us...
G.R.A.S.P.P. is a group of people with a lot of curiosity about the things that go “BUMP” in the night & we want to know why they do. We believe that most things can be explained. There are always a few thing that try to stay secretive and those things just make us ask more questions. Curiosity is a good thing. Paranormal phenomena is out there and it’s our goal to weed through the evidence and prove fact from fiction.
We will always enjoy a good hunt for the truth. Some of our members have had their own experiences and they want some answers as well. Helping you may even help us.

This is one of those things that I just haven’t got looking like I want. So as I try to perfect the portraits of our members, I ask that you trust me when I say - “We have the best looking team in the field of paranormal research!”

Bill Jones - “Gramps” - Founder / Lead investigator debunkers@graspp.info
I’ve had an interest in the paranormal for many years. In 1984 I woke in the middle of the night to find what I can only describe as a shadow person standing at the foot of my bed. I gently woke my partner to see if she would see what I was seeing. I still wasn’t sure if I was awake or just dreaming. She saw the same thing and neither of us could explain it. This figure stayed at the foot of our bed for several minutes, then, it just appeared in the doorway. A couple of more minutes later it simply vanished. This was the start for me, I wanted answers, I needed to figure out what I saw.
In 2005, on Halloween night, Connie (my wife), Jay (my best friend) and myself went on our first ghost hunt in Nunica Cemetery - one of the most haunted places in Michigan. We were hooked. Since then we have gone on several investigations. Through trail, error and hard work we have learned a lot about the world of paranormal phenomena. There are lots of things that we have learned how to logically explain away and things that logic can’t explain. We plan on searching for those answers.
One of my favorite quotes is from Jason Hawes of “TAPS”:
If you can re-create it then it isn’t paranormal
To me, these are the words that say it all... the truth we live by.

Jay McClellan - Founder / Lead Investigator
I went on my first investigation with Bill and Connie on Halloween night, 2005. Our first ghost hunt raised more questions than it answered. I enjoy trying to debunk the strange things that we’ve found. It’s safe to say I’m hooked. When you’re on an investigation, you have to place yourself outside of the scene. The only people who get scared on a hunt are those who let themselves get scared.
My wife Patricia (Pat), and my son, both have an interest in ghost hunting and they occasionally join us on our investigations.

Connie Jones - Investigator / Founder / Case Manager
I have always had an interest in the paranormal. It’s always been curiosity more than anything to me. I’ve always wondered if someone were in the room with me, even though I couldn’t physically see them. I think the thing I enjoy most about the investigations is the mystery, and trying to come up with the conclusion of what is actually going on at a site. One Halloween night, my husband and I were getting ready for the trick or treaters, when we found out that they didn’t do the trick or treating in our area. Instead, they had a Halloween party at the township hall. So while sitting around watching a “Most Haunted Halloween Special” about tracking down Jack the Ripper, we got talking about going on a ghost hunt some day. At that moment, I said “why not now, and the rest is history!

Kerri Erb - Case Manager / Investigator
I’ve had my curiosity for the paranormal since the age of 8. I was awaken by my bed shaking rapidly. Of course, at that age, I was terrified! Ever since then I’ve wanted to find out what it was that caused me to get so scared.

Danielle Horvath Investigator / Equipment Manager
I have been investigating the paranormal for about a year now. I have always been interested in what could be out there and I am glad to have the opportunity to search and find answers. I don’t know what is out there exactly but I will continue to search for clues even if it means debunking almost all phenomena just to find that one piece of amazing paranormal footage. I believe in searching for natural causes before jumping to paranormal conclusions but will give credence to any evidence that cannot be debunked. I love to read, watch movies (especially comedies and horror movies). I always make time to just veg out and relax. I love to go online and surf around randomly finding mostly answers to unlikely trivia and funny videos. Part of this searching is what got me hooked on the paranormal and its study. Being the equipment manager for the group is a great position for me. I also am the person who maintains the groups social pages.

Danielle “Dani” Stites - Investigator / Case Manager / Specialist in Wicca, Shamanism & Druidism catchinghosties@graspp.info
I have been interested in the Paranormal since I was very young. I've been studying Wicca, Shamanism & Druidism since I was 13 years old. I always enjoy learning and studying new ideas in metaphysics and in the paranormal world. I fully believe that most everything can be debunked, yet there are things out there that cannot be explained no matter how hard you try. I would love to find hard evidence for all the non-believers out there.

Pat Stites - Investigator
I am the provoker of the group. The Paranormal has interested me for many years. I have had a few of my own experiences that have made me wonder if there really is more going on out there.

Lindsey Schell - Investigator
I joined the group shortly after my brother, Jason, had joined. I’ve learned a lot and our group is enjoying the work as we help those in search of answers.

Nancy Schmidt - Investigator in Training
I never thought a whole lot about the “afterlife” until I went on a fundraiser being held by G.R.A.S.P.P. They took us through the Elks Lodge, a nice old building, and showed us what they do when on an investigation, explaining equipment, and some things they had found in the past. While going through this “tour”, I had my own experience, and have been interested in it since. I stated my interest in joining the group because there were so many questions I had myself that I would like to find some answers to.

Natasha (Tasha) Miliusis - Investigator in Training
I am a 22 year old Security Officer and work in Grand Rapids MI. I'm pretty outgoing and love adventure, so paranormal investigating is right up my ally. I began becoming interested in the paranormal when I was a sophomore in high school and I was the only one of my friends who not only believed in it, but was interested in learning more about it. I have interest in the occult as well. I would always be the kid who in world religions class would choose to research voodoo, for example, over researching Judaism or Buddhism like my other classmates. After I graduated high school I began doing some paranormal investigating on my own. I would talk a friend into going with me to a cemetery, after hours (one should ALWAYS try to get permission to be in a cemetery after dark). I would go with a flash light and my very simple digital camera. The first time I went, I had an experience and my interest in the paranormal was cemented and has grown immensely since. I would call myself a believer but I am not quick to just assume something that occurs is a "ghost", I am the type to look at any other possibilities before confirming anything. I am very excited to be a part of GRASPP and look forward to doing investigations and researching evidence!
