We seem to get a lot of questions about who we are and what we do. So we decided to put a few on the site to better answer your questions about us and the paranormal. I hope this helps, but remember, We will always try to answer your questions - just ask.
DO YOU BELIEVE IN GHOSTS?
Some of our members do believe, wholeheartedly. While most of our members are a bit more skeptical. We all believe that there is something happening in our world that has not been fully explained. It may be a ghost, or a window to another dimension, we really don’t know. We will continue to search for clues that may, someday, let us peek into the window which holds the answer.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DO AN INVESTIGATION?
- We base our investigations on a more scientific approach. We will try to find logical reasons for a ghost or haunting. Most things can be explained away. We always start a new case with an interview which may take about a hour to an hour and a half. This will help us to design a plan. Letting us figure out how many people and which pieces equipment we may need. If we are investigating someone’s home, the actual investigation may last 3 to 4 hours. A business may go as much as 6 to 8 hours, or more. Once the initial investigation is completed we take all of the evidence that we have collected and review it, all of it. This can take as much as 2 or 3 weeks. If we need to debunk something that we have found, we may end up doing another investigation or two. We always examine everything completely, this is definitely not a quick deal.
CAN YOU GET RID OF A GHOST?
- We have seen a group on the internet that had received a lot of attention a couple of years ago, saying that they could remove a ghost from your home “just like the Ghostbusters”. That was an interesting statement, considering that everything about ghosts is based on theory. We do not claim to be able to rid you of pesky ghosts! We will however teach you how to deal with your situation and show techniques that have worked in the past with other clients. If needed, their are ways, like have the home blessed, that can be done to help in some cases.
HOW LONG HAS YOUR GROUP BEEN AROUND?
G.R.A.S.P.P. has been around since 2005. When we started, there was only 3 of us. We had to learn what we were doing from scratch. We went through a couple of different names as we got better at what were were doing. We took on the G.R.A.S.P.P. name in about 2007 and started to grow our group with new members which we trained to become the professionals that are now the backbone of our organization.
DO YOU CHARGE TO INVESTIGATE ?
We never charge to help someone. We believe that if we put a price on what we do then people would expect us to find a ghost, because they paid us. We want everyone to trust us when we investigate. We will, on occasions, ask for reimbursement of expenses for some out-of-town investigations. We fund or organization out of our own pockets, through small fund raisers and donations.
